The Yellow Wagtail Partnership is a landscape scale conservation project which is working to restore four miles of riparian meadows and pastures. The restored grasslands will improve habitats and food sources for many species including the Yellow Wagtail (Motacilla flava), a species once widespread throughout England and Wales but now on the Red List of Birds of Conservation Concern. The Yellow Wagtail Partnership is developing an evidence-based approach to farming riparian grasslands that will inform land management decisions and set an example for other farmers, inspiring them to manage their land with nature in mind.
