A tour of Nettlebed Common (https://www.nettlebed-commons.org/) to look at the marshland, ponds, heathland and geological sites, led by Sally Rankin. Extraction of clay for the local brick industry has left one of the biggest pond complexes in Oxfordshire. Sally Rankin has been involved in the conservation work on the commons since the early 1990s and co-wrote the management plan with Rod d’Ayala.
