The life, ecology and variety of myxomycetes (Slime Moulds).
Educated at Cambridge, St Andrews and Liverpool Universities, Prof. Ing has studied myxomycetes since 1957 and is author of 'The Myxomycetes of Britain and Ireland' (Richmond). He has Worked in nature conservation, run field centres and lectured at Chester College, now University, since 1971. He is now Visiting Professor of Environmental Biology and Emeritus Professor of Applied Science at Chester.
