Penny Williams of the Freshwater Habitats Trust will show us the amazing recovery of wetland plants at this riverside reserve. Protected for thirty years this area is home to many birds as we saw in our January meeting, but equally important are the plants that have returned following the making of the scrapes, both naturally and by introduction of endangered species. See Water Violets, Frogbit and the ecological engineer Marsh Lousewort among others.
