The talk will look at the fungi to be found in people's gardens, parks and woodlands and the essential part they play in the ecology of our countryside.
Geoffrey Kibby is a research associate in mycology based at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. For the last 22 years he has been senior editor of the mushroom journal 'Field Mycology' published by the British Mycological Society and is the author of over 20 books on British and American fungi.
